Bugaboo Cottage, Weem

The cottage is completely equipped with everything you'd need for either a holiday or working visit. It is in a prime location (close to Aberfeldy and pubs/restuarants). If you are visiting the Aberfeldy/Loch Tay region, I strongly recommend the Bugaboo to anyone.

We booked this cottage for the Christmas week as one of the most important things we look for is a real fire. As it was in the photos we presumed there was one. How disappointing to arrive with two boxes of log burners to find sitting in place of the fire is a chest of drawers!!!! I wouldn't have booked if I have known. Gutted. Don't get me wrong, the cottage is warm with the underfloor heating but why have photos of a wood burning stove when there isn't one! Not happy

Absolutely loved staying in this well equipped and comfortable cottage. The rooms were spacious yet cozy and we had everything we needed for ourselves and other family who came for the weekend, my niece loved the bunk beds! Helpful instructions from the owners were really useful and the shortbread,milk and tea for a welcome cuppa was a lovely touch. The location is great too, an easy walk to Aberfeldy with two local hotels open to non residents very close by and easy access to tour the area by car, cycle or the local stop and drop bus. We would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone planning to stay in or around Aberfeldy.

The set up of the cottage was very good. All bedrooms being en suite was great. We had plenty of space for a family of 7 and dog.

Bugaboo Cottage was spacious and met all our needs. The cottage was situated in a lovely location. There were plenty of places to visit nearby and we had a great holiday. We stayed in the snowy weather and the property was lovely and warm. A good base for an active holiday.

We travelled one day to Glenshee for skiing which was a fun experience. We stayed in the snowy weather during the 'Artic blast' and the property was lovely and warm. A good base for an active holiday with fishing. kayaking. walking, climbing, golf etc nearby along with places of interest such as castles and a distillery! The second living room was handy for my son as he brought his Xbox and TV so he could game at night which left us having a relaxing evening in the other lounge. The wifi was good. I would stay again.

The cottage was homely and an ideal place to spend with kids if the weather turns out to be not so good.

We were staying in both Larch and Bugaboo cottages and had a great stay. We had fun exploring the area, especially the local distillery.

The layout of this cottage worked really well for us as two families sharing - there was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen and dining area was very well equipped, sociable and spacious. The location was fantastic, being peaceful and scenic. We would definitely recommend the property to others and would visit again with family and friends.

This is a lovely cottage in an excellent location, particularly for outdoor activities. Spacious, with generous sized rooms and bathrooms. The living area/kitchen are homely, well laid out and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. Thankfully the weather was brilliant for the time of year, but the underfloor heating helped keep the cottage at a lovely temperature, particularly early morning and in the evening. Excellent cottage all-round and we will use it again in the future.

I can not pin point one thing about the cottage/holiday, we had a fabulous time and will most definitely be returning.

Nice family friendly space with a brilliant drying room. Comfortable and there was lots of hot water. Great location and in walking distance of an excellent restaurant.

The cottage is situated in a very good location near Aberfeldy; lots of interesting places to visit nearby, stunning scenery etc. The cottage is very welcoming, well appointed and well maintained. The d?cor was also very pleasant. We all had a great time at Bugaboo Cottage!

The property was excellent for our needs. There was adequate bedroom space for each couple/family and an ideal space at a large table to share meals and comfortable space to sit together. Weather-wise, we were fortunate to be able to barbecue and to sit out on the porch. There is ready access to a variety of activities.

Lovely cottage, well kept and comfortable and we had a very enjoyable stay. Very much recommended.

This house was very nice and in a perfect location just about a mile from Aberfeldy. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation and would love to visit again.
