NameWhat it holdsHow long
aeShortlistThe reference codes of the cottages you’ve saved with the heart button, so your shortlist is there when you come back1 year

It’s only set when you tap a heart. It holds no name, email or anything else that identifies you, and we don’t use it to track you around the site or anywhere else.

Cookies from other websites

When you press Check Prices & Availability you leave this site for the holiday company that lets the cottage. They, and any affiliate network on the way, set their own cookies, including one that records that we sent you. Their cookie policies explain those.

Fonts come from Google Fonts and, on cottage pages, the map comes from OpenStreetMap. Neither sets cookies from our pages.

Clearing it

Remove a cottage from your shortlist by tapping its heart again, or clear the cookie in your browser’s settings. The site works the same without it; only the shortlist is lost.
