We were given lodge 17 upon arrival. I wouldnt have booked a lodge on this site if I had known the lodge looked out onto the side of a barn. This held a wedding the first night there and loud music went on until after midnight. There were no curtains on this end of the lodge so people walking past and cars just looked in on us. The fridge was tiny without small ice box. Not even suitable for a weekend. There were only 3 of us not the 6 that the lodge catered for. The sofas were very low and deep, we had to use pillows off the beds to be able to sit comfortably. Outside , we had to clean the step into the hot tub as it was filthy. The chairs were also covered in cobwebs so we had to clean them before us to. I wouldnt have booked a lodge in Scotland to look out onto a building. My mam, sister and I all agreed that we wouldnt go back.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the lodge and grounds are beautiful. We had a little issue when we arrived but this was sorted really quickly and the staff were helpful. The listing does state there is no WiFi, you can get signal if you are in the car park but also to note phone signal is non existent when you are in the lodge so if you are staying for longer than a few days this is something to consider. The kitchen had everything we needed bar a cheese grater, the bedrooms are large enough and the beds comfy. The hot tub was lovely and always warm. Something to be aware of is that Silverwood hold weddings, there was one on the day we arrived, it does get quite noisy into the night As most weddings do! But the rest of our week was blissfully quiet. We enjoyed our week here and would stay again.

Had a girls weekend & we thoroughly enjoyed it. There was a wedding on when we were there & we didnt hear a thing. Lodge was spacious & cosy. Loved having the hot tub too. Only a short walk into the village where we visited the local pub. Would highly recommend Silverwood Lodges and will definitely be booking again.

Loved the lodge, so clean and tidy. The decor was spot on and even the water pressure was good haha, loved the bath too. Only issue was with having the 5 of us there the WiFi was not brilliant
