East Haven and West Haven beaches are a short walk away. Carnoustie town centre offers independent shops, seaside cafés and a promenade. The Angus countryside surrounds you with walking trails, castle tours and nature reserves. Coastal walks start from the doorstep.

To reach The Hay Loft by car, follow the A92 coastal road into Carnoustie and look for signs to Panbride Estate near the edge of town. Two private on-site parking spaces are available on arrival and there is also an EV charging point on site.
Carnoustie railway station is the nearest station and sits on the Dundee to Arbroath line with regular services. From the station it is a short taxi or walk to Panbride Estate making arrival by rail straightforward.
