We had a lovely stay at Lodge by the River Tay! The place was cosy and inviting, really peaceful but still close to loads of things to do. We loved walking along the river and even spotted beavers early in the morning - pretty special! Our Labrador had a great time swimming in the afternoons. The location is perfect for exploring Perthshire’s castles, distilleriesand museums. Nicky and James were fantastic hosts. We’ll definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely place! The location is truly breathtaking, perfect for relaxing walks with our dogs. The house itself is super comfy and tastefully decorated - felt like a real home away from home. The hot tub was a real treat after a day out. Our teenagers loved the nearby kids' parkand the owners were so friendly, even greeting us with chocolate cake and whisky. Definitely recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway!

We had a fantastic experience here! The accommodation was comfortable, the location was perfect for exploringand the hospitality was truly welcoming. What more could we ask for? Perfect all around!
Claire
We really liked this place but it is a bit remote. We had elderly relatives with us and the steep walk to the beach was not great for them. We ended up having to drive into the village!
Ben
We stayed (party of 4 with 2 others for a couple of days) at Lodge by the Tay for a week over New Year and had a fantastic time. The location is wonderful, so picturesque and peaceful, with a particular highlight being the small beach just along the river bank. Our dog loved her multiple walks along here every day, as well as those slightly further afield. The hot tub simply added to the relaxed feel of the place. Nicky & James were brilliant hosts, very welcoming, helpful and unobtrusive!
Lucy
The location was just brilliant. The cottage surpassed our expectations and anyone searching for a quiet, relaxed holiday should definitely consider this! Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcomingand they included lots of lovely little extras.
