Enjoying countryside views from the balcony and just moments away from historical attractions, hillwalking and fishing, this two-bedroom apartment is ideal for a small family of four friends. Be greeted by off-road parking and step into the entrance hallway, where you can house your walking boots and jackets ready for exploring your surroundings. Rest on the sumptuous sofa with a cup of tea in hand and rustle up tasty dishes with the electric oven and hob to assist you. When meals are served, gather at the glass dining table to tuck-in and why not pour your favourite bottle of wine out to toast to your getaway? After an adventure in the great outdoors, enjoy a hot shower or sooth your muscles in the tub for a moment of relaxation. When sleep calls, there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with bedside lamps so you can escape into a book before drifting off to sleep. Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee and a home-cooked breakfast or if you fancy a break from cooking, take a short stroll to Invergarry Hotel for a treat. Unveil the past of the village at Invergarry Castle, which was once the seat of Clan MacDonell, and stroll along Loch Oich for calming water and pontoons; bring your fishing gear to fish for brown trout along Loch Oich, Loch Garry or Loch Lundie, all surrounded by stunning scenery! You can also take advantage of water sports such as canoeing for a great adventure, but if you'd prefer to stay on land, there are plenty of hillwalking routes to explore such as up to Victoria View Point and Cow Hill Trail. For splendid views of Loch Ness, visit the settlement of Fort Augustus, here you can meander around the Grade A listed building, The Highland Club or tee up at the expansive golf club. Nestled on the shores of Loch Linnhe, is the town of Fort William, where budding historians can spend an afternoon at the West Highland Museum or take on rock climbing at the 3 Wise Monkeys Climbing Centre. Within easy reach of the town, you'll find the spectacular Glenfinnan Viaduct, an iconic railway featured in the Harry Potter films; a brilliant photo opportunity along the Glenfinnan Trail! 4 River Court is also within easy reach of Inverness, a bustling city with a wide selection of shops for some retail therapy and delicious eateries to dine out. Why not complete your holiday with a day trip to Isle of Skye for magical scenery, hikes and fairy pools? For a much-needed break to the Scottish Highlands, choose 4 River Court. EPC Rating: Band C

Great for Exploring the Area
We booked this flat for our holiday this year and were in no way disappointed. I was surprised how inexpensive it was given the high standard of the flat itself and the amenities provided. It is an upstairs flat with the door to the back and although Sykes do say on their website that you need to bring your own oven gloves and tea towels we found when we got there that these were provided. The flat was beautifully appointed and to be honest, given the price we paid for the week we were surprised at how gorgeous the flat was. The livingroom/kitchen has WiFi, a TV plus Freesat, a washing machine a dishwasher and a breakfast bar. The one downside I would say is that the fridge is small and there is only one small wall cupboard for you to store your food in. The bathroom is utterly gorgeous and has an over the bath shower, a heated towel rail and included shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The bedrooms are to the back so you don't really hear any traffic noise and the twin had a free standing wardrobe and plenty of drawer space. The double bedroom again had plenty of drawer space and a very large walk in wardrobe with tons of hangers. The flat also has off road parking which is excellent. It is almost next door to the Invergarry Hotel which do meals and breakfasts for non residents but you do need to book in advance for this. There is not much to do in Invergarry itself. There is a small shop at the garage just down the road to Fort Augustus and you can walk there and back, but to be honest it is really only for basics. To get a reasonable shop the nearest ones are the Spar in either Fort Augustus or Spean Bridge, or Morrisons in Fort William. This is an excellent base for exploring the area. It is not that far from Inverness, Loch Ness, Fort Augustus, Fort William or even Skye. Would I recommend it? Yes, because it is a fantastic base if you want to explore the area but obviously you really need a car to do this. Would I return? I don't think so. Not because there was anything wrong with the flat, but I personally prefer to stay in a small town such as Fort Augustus where I can walk to places. If you prefer a nice quiet place to stay where you can still explore the area then I would highly reccommend this flat.
