Dondie’s Reviews

Idillic cottage with stunning views.
Just had a glorious week at this cottage. It has obviously just been refurbished to a very high standard. We were visited on several evenings by a Pine Martin who loved the peanut butter sandwiches we made for it. We also watched seals and dolphins cavort in the bay from the patio . Cannot recommend cottage and surrounding area enough. We walked to the lighthouse and passed by a breathtaking beach called MacNeil?s bay. If you can walk there, do so you won?t be disappointed . We then had welcome refreshments at the lighthouse cafe, well worth a visit. We bought Venison at the estate office which was reasonably priced . Only down side ( I can think of) is though we were surrounded by the sea ,could buy no fresh fish.
